Làbora is a design and communication association specialized in the organization of design training projects, workshops and intensive courses open to any kind of students and professionals.
In April 2010 Làbora organized a ten days workshop on the topic: FAME (do you wanna live forever?)
Interaction Design Lab proposed for the occasion a workshop called Làboramos Musique in which the students were led to the making of a 7 inch hit single, following all of the steps of the record’s process: music brand identity definition, realization of the record’s artwork, composition of an original song, presentation to an audience.
The students’ projects have been presented using RFID technology at Triennale Bovisa museum during Milan Design Week 2010.
During the workshop i taught students the basics of music production and audio recording techniques using minimal, and where possible open source, tools.
